The Model LT8 separator system is designed to unstack layer pads and top frames from an incoming mixed stack, using three pallet lifts for sorting.  The mixed stack is indexed upward, as required, for the AS889 Autoserter to remove the top layer pad or a top frame and layer pad.  The layer pad or top frame and layer pad are placed on the centering device, located above the layer pad stack.  After the layer pad is squared, it is dropped on the layer pad stack.  The layer pad stack will index downward, as required.  If a top frame is present, the top frame handler will remove the squared top frame from the layer pad stack, before the next layer pad is deposited and place it on the top frame stack.

 

The system also offers optional pallet infeed and discharge conveyors to assist with the conveying of full mixed stacks and the removal and stacking of empty pallets.
