The Semi-Automatic Counter/Bagger (SACB) is designed to receive one to four lanes of can ends from upstream equipment in a continuous string or in flat form.  The SACB electronically counts the can ends and separates them into lengths called “sticks”.  The counted sticks are then moved forward to be visually inspected by the operator prior to being loaded into paper sleeves.  The bag loading can be accomplished manually by the operator or automatically via a pneumatic pushbar with the Auto Bag Load option.

The final bag folding and palletizing are accomplished manually.  Fully automatic systems are also available to provide the complete count–to–palletizing process.
